Senate kills bill to abolish alienation of affection in Mississippi A bill intended to abolish the tort of alienation of affection in Mississippi died in committee. SB2057 was referred to the Senate Judiciary committee and died in committee. So the tort will live on in Mississippi. Paramours beware.
